Protect your home with EcoWash’s professional Roof Moss Removal service. We safely remove and treat moss from asphalt shingle roofs throughout Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, Hayden, Rathdrum, Dalton Gardens, Liberty Lake, and surrounding North Idaho communities using the SoftWash method recommended by the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association (ARMA).

Our process begins by removing loose moss and debris from your roof. We then carefully agitate heavily affected areas with a soft bristled brush to remove moss that is no longer firmly attached, minimizing unnecessary wear to your shingles. Once the loose growth has been removed, we apply a professional roof moss treatment that kills the remaining moss at its roots. The dead moss naturally releases over time with normal weather, reducing the risk of granule loss that can occur with aggressive scraping or pressure washing.

Unlike high pressure roof cleaning, our SoftWash process is designed to protect your asphalt shingles while eliminating moss, algae, lichen, and organic growth. Using high pressure on a roof can strip away protective granules, shorten the life of your shingles, and increase the risk of water intrusion. Our low pressure roof cleaning methods help preserve your roof while restoring its appearance and preventing future moss growth.

If your roof has visible moss, dark streaks, or green algae, professional roof moss removal can help extend the life of your roofing system, improve curb appeal, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. EcoWash provides safe, effective roof moss removal and roof treatment services throughout Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, Hayden, Rathdrum, Dalton Gardens, Liberty Lake, and the surrounding North Idaho area.
